You sit and feel
guilty for being upset
knowing whats
she's going through

But you'd hoped
there was someone
worrying about
you too

Recall
conversations
that sprawled
into the morning
gentle reassurances
and wonder
if it was all
verbal
masturbation..

And a small
sick part of you
hopes it was
all just that
a lie
to give you an excuse
to put up that new wall
and start scratching off
new defeats

Is this a rivalry..or a sadness that you aren't as understood or comforted?

I really think it's all just what we decide that it is...

always thinking you--and painful tug of words in this, Raph. Hugs.
