~*~ I am a peaceful platypus That's just the way I am, If someone stepped upon my bill, The worst I'd say is "damn"! But if you said I'm ugly, I'd really take a fit, Plug your ears, so you won't hear, Me screamin' "holy thit"! For I'm a pretty platypus And tend to be quite vain, Don't dare to criticize my looks, It'd drive me near insane! I am a vain platypus have no doubt 'bout that It seems that I waddle, and some people call me fat, but I have not a problem, with their jibes and names for many of them also seem to be in looks the same chuckling... enjoyed.. this EA..a chuckle..and some wisdom at the same time... nicely done... BTW...you Canadians may keep the cold air masses on your side of the border..thank you |

I liked this poem, cute and clever and I appreciate the humor.., but an interesting fact - the platypus is not that passive.. infact they have pointed spur located just above the heel of each hind leg that secretes venom.. granted it's used primarily for the mating game, but they will use them as defensive weapons, and it causes a nasty and painful wound.. they don't seem quite so cute now huh? lol |
