My heart is made of glass
Which was broken more than once
Leaving tiny cracks along the way

These cracks started small
But grew larger
As my self-esteem shrunk

I give you my heart
In hopes that you will repair the damage
And not shatter it to pieces

My heart belongs to you
But be careful
It is fragile *

Ooooh...I like this. A glass heart, ever fragile, and yet ever sturdy, carrying us through times thin and thick. Very nice!

That's what we, as heroes, do. We live as if the world were like it should be, to show the world what it could be.
