Another Page

Life turned another season’s page
A winter moon has crossed the stage
And parchment lures a written dream
Of lupine blues on field of cream

The storms of March will some day cease
On lifeline’s deeply folded crease
Where waits the genesis of calm
At crossroads on a weathered palm

A page is blank except to place
My fingerprints on sheet of lace
My pen will draw a silhouette
Of joy that shadow’s life’s regret

Though it is God who will command
The path engraved upon my hand

I really enjoy your style, you write with such elegance and your soft descriptions support that in your work.

Have I told you how much I enjoy what you write?   Well I do.

Loved the message in your verse.
