I'd like to see a world at peace.
I'd like to see it now.
I'd like hostilities to cease
Although I don't know how.
I'd like to see all tyrrany
Give way to freedom's torch.
I'd like to see all men be free..
These are my "I'd"s of March.

(big hugggsssssss) And obviously there are those who run some of the countrues that don't want this! (sad sigh) I too pray for all of this to come true and finally peace can become something real, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Balladeer, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

wonderfully creative, as usual. I was expecting a long ballad and here it was a short, but precise poem.

I'd like to be the first to say
I'd stand with you in an "I'ds" line
I'd hand out my "Peace" stickers too
I'd proudly show every one of them mine.

I'd tell them about my granddaughters
I'd tell them about your grandson,
I'd tell them to stop all this nonsense
I'd tell them nothing will ever be won!

yada yada- Michael this was wonderful, and like Sy says I wish I had written it (I wish )

You know if I could have one wish, just one, it would be for peace and that alone would fix everything else wrong in this world.

I had the same sentiments when I wrote "freedom's bell".  Then I was thinking of my son's, and still do, however someone I care about is in the military and is waiting for his orders to go over.  It just sucks.  I don't have better words to describe it.

Well written and to the point.

I do agree about there should be peace, but sometimes we have to have war, as much as we shouldnt we shave too. We have to fight, to protext our country ( I live in usa ). But I do agree about how all men should be free.
