If sentience spoke a language, as gathered spirits out of sight
Taken in by taste of spring, or the building fire’s appetite
To glean each silent footstep crept as undisturbed as fluttered leaves
And smell the smoke and build the hearth that fate hides up its sleeves

Into the stillness of I love you, without sound or noise or need
Tender rituals bouquet of thought, in wildflower rose from thorn to bleed
Gathering twigs that stick the throat in oak, and pale soft pine
If sentience spoke but fingertips to barely break the surface shine

And each smile provoked in a multiple, each touch an incalculable prize
Above the thigh high horizons, under watch of such fluent consensual eyes
From a basket of wishes, more than loaves and fishes extend
To select proper kindling in the pleasure of ardent intend

Very nice. ^^

That's what we, as heroes, do. We live as if the world were like it should be, to show the world what it could be.
