I lack the words of rhyme these days.

but I ask of 'all poets' some help

Anyone who may remember me :-) And even those who don't :-)

Some years ago,I had a dream, I wanted to help children, the dream was to start a fund for an orphanage and that takes money and contacts.

But, always a but, eh? :-)

That dream I can't put off anymore, I have this evening, started my dream. It's not live yet but will be tomorrow evening, all being well.

This is what I would like, if any of you, would be so kind :-)

The main doorway will of course, be my dearest friend Suthern and her heart of gold to me and my daughter Rachel but this is what I would like: -

A few poems for childrem, those in distress that can read easilly a good heart and one of safety.

Also, some child friendly graphics I have a few myself but am also looking for others.

Any submitted material *must* be fit for children and easy on the eye.

I leave you with me and my snoops (for those that remember that my snoops got me through some of my hard times) and for my friends that remember me, you will of course remember Rachel, and some of you still do I know :-) HUSG Suthern :-)
http://cashandtips.com/snoopsandcindy.jpg

The new site will be of course, under my name:
http://rainbows-help.com

This site will be non profit making and any income generated will go towards helping children of all nationalities :-)

Thank you, I do indeed still remember the kindess I received from here, and this kindness helped to realise the dream I have started today :-)

Cindy aka RainbowGirl and snoops (of course)

Why?  Well, because Rainbows are indeed special :-)

Don't ask me where I'm going, just listen when I'm gone and far away you'll hear me singing softly to the dawn.

You think I don't remember you?  Heaven forbid!  However....

I'm going to move you over to announcements, and then send a terribly LARGE e-mail to all of our poet friends....

so they will see this,

because what you left belongs there....and my dear sweet friend, how GREAT it is to see you again!

Hi This is Vivian, my pen name is Eliza Simmons. Piptalk nick is aries_luv_ppl also aka. ZtheMeow in some other forums outside Piptalk.

My dream is to open a daycare. Since we have similar goals, I would want to help. Here are some...if you need more just email me. Nice to meet you. You're email doesn't work so I post here. These are some of my earliest poems. As you can see, I start writing because I want to help. If these aren't helpful I will write some specially for this occasion.
--------------------------------------------
Seryn Isle (22 verses)
--------------------------------------------
1
Peace and grace
Here come the Seryn elves
(The Elves have returned!)
Sing with your beautiful voice
Carry with the spiritual words
Spread the human love
Seek the power of hope
Reach out far beyond horizon
Let's the spirit of elves to be heard!

--------------------------------------------

2
Arms to arms,
Hands to hands,
Cried out to realm
of the Seryn Isle.

We shout together
like brothers and sister,
Cheer for our pride,
Cheer for one another,
Cheer for our spirit.

And so...
SHOUT OUT LOUD,
The Seryn Elves,
SHOUT OUT LOUD,
Shout the Seryn Elves.

--------------------------------------------

3
Let us shout
Loud and sound
For the voice of elves
Can be heard from miles afar

Let us cheer
Proud and grace
For the spirit of elves
Will never died

--------------------------------------------

4
Search within your soul,
Spirit is within each of us,
Spirit can be shown in many ways,
Whether you are a poet, artist,
Or ordinary man,
It doesn't matter.
As long as it's from your heart,
Everything else doesn't matter.

So...
Share your spirit with us today,
For the spirit of elves,
Brings hope to life,
For your shout equal support,
Spread the spirit of Seryn elves.

--------------------------------------------

5
Search
Peace and hope
Inside your body and soul
Rekindle your spirit, knowing
In this changing world,
There is someone cares about you.

--------------------------------------------

6
From afar I heard giggling and laughter,
It's the old lake home of
The Seryn Isle Elves.
I asked, 'Why are you so happy?'
The elves replied with a smile on their faces,
'We are going to have a big party.
Let's come and join.
We love party and we love spirit.
Come, let join us,' Cried the Seryn elves.
'Let come and join us,' Cried the Seryn elves.

--------------------------------------------

7
Congradulate to those who win,
Cheers to those who lose.
Lose and win,
Is a common thing.
But what's unique
Is the friendship reward
For friendship is golden.
So don't give up,
For I'll always there for you
When you need a friend.

--------------------------------------------

8
Everybody, let's go party,
It's Friday night!
Party till the midnight,
Party till the morning,
Let us shout,
Loud and clear.
Our spirit is consistent.
Our pride is incontestable.
For the Seryn Isle Elves,
Is the best loving place to visit.

--------------------------------------------

9
Spirit can be define in many ways,
The spirit of the Site Fights
Is to share, to love, to make friends
Share your spirit by SHOUTing IT OUT
Love everything around you
And keep making friends in TSF!
Fighting for fun, where friendship begin!
--------------------------------------------

10
Spirit of the flowers
Carry the spirit of love
Like the blooming flowers
Our friendship
Will grow with time
And will grow
Into a beautiful union.

--------------------------------------------

11
Along the walk
You will meet many
Special spirit
Those are my friends
whom I met at
The Site Fight
Our friendship
is the most precious
I got from TSF
And may we
always be friends
--------------------------------------------

12
When you look
at the quiet scenery
Flowers and trees
Moving their fragile body
Waving at you
Thanks God for giving
All that we have

And when you're
tired of walking
Please have a seat
in my tea house
I have prepared
some tea for you.
--------------------------------------------

13
Today we met on the road
Fighting with each other
One day we may have to apart
But our friendship will ever last
--------------------------------------------

14
Seryn spirit high
Keep it going
The Seryn Elves
Ready to go, ready to SHOUT
Shout to the world
Shout out LOUD.

--------------------------------------------

15
Let us cheer the Seryn Elves,
Cheer for ourselves,
For all the great work we did,
For all our love and kindness we shown.
Even it's only a smile,
You may have save someone day.

So let us cheer everyday,
To cheer someone up,
To show our support
Keep the party and spirit going
Let us shout the Seryn Elves

--------------------------------------------

16
Every kindness you show,
Every cheer you shout,
You are showing the
Spirit of the team
Cried it out loud,
Don't be afraid,
Your shouts do count.
Friendship is such a
Beautiful thing,
Let us cheer and
Let us show it every day.

--------------------------------------------

17
A friend of mine asked,
"How can you come up with
new cheers every day?
Why are you cheering?"
I replied my friend,
"It's not how many
I wrote or how many
I post, it's a matter
of the heart."
I told my friend,
"I don't write well,
English isn't my strength,
But my cheers, my inspiration
are from my heart."

--------------------------------------------

18
Seryn Elves is the best
(Seryn Elves is #1)
Seryn Elves spirit high
(We got our spirit high!)
Come with me, SHOUT IT OUT
And shout it proud
The Seryn Elves is here!

--------------------------------------------

19
Spirits of the heart,
Spirits of the elves,
Are more then just shouting.
Helping each other,
Voting with the heart,
Loyal forever,
This is the true spirit of Seryn Elves.
In a rainy day, or
On a sunny day,
I will be with you.
Seryn Isle Rock!

--------------------------------------------

20
Seryn Isle not only
A place to fight or
A place to play,
It’s a place to develop
Beautiful friendship,
Love and care.

--------------------------------------------

21
Happy year 2000!
Thanks to the God above,
Y2k arrived with joy!
As a year begin,
Hope swept away yesterday sorrow.
As new millennium begin,
Where are we heading to?
What will science leading us to?
Don't worry,
Where there is faith,
There is hope.

--------------------------------------------

22
A voice is singing softly in the myst
And soon thousand of voices
join the choral of music,
forming one united tone-
one that's unique and sound.
Sing and shout Seryn Isle Elves,
shine your spirit through your voice.
Hail to the Isle Elves!

--------------------------------------------

Cheer Up
--------------------------------------------©1999 Eliza Simmons
Cheer up, my friend,
Nobody is in lonely land,
There's always someone care for you,
A friend like you just who you are,
A friend care for you and miss you when you're absent,
A friend will always on your side,
Ready to lend you a hand when you need them the most,
A friend is willing to forgive you,
So cheer up, my friend,
Cheer up,
For I'll be always there for you.

Rolling in the Sea

------------------------------------
©1999 Eliza Simmons

Pal I know you are sore,
Searching in the sea, the sea of trouble.
Searching for direction, you think you are lost.
Don't be afraid pal,
We all sometimes in this angry sea.
But don't you afraid, my dear friend,
For there is always rays of hope,
And when the sky is clear, when the wind is mild,
Your trouble will seem too far.

That's What Friends Mean To Be
--------------------------------------------©1999 Eliza Simmons
*This poem is dedicate to my friend Kei=)

There are friends to meet,
There are friends to go,
There are new friends,
But never let go of the old.
There are good pals and bad pals,
There are casual pals and close pals,
Leading us to new ideas,
Lending us their shoulders,
And giving out their gentle hand,
These are true friends,
Friends that never betray,
That's what friends are for!

The Girl

--------------------------------------------
©1999 Eliza Simmons
Wake up on dawn,
I look across the room
Staring at the bed
The girl was lying the day before.
Just yesterday she was smiling
With hope in her eyes,
Just yesterday I talked to her
About her dreams and goals.
And yesterday was one fine day,
But yesterday was a dream.

She wished the clock stop turning,
The girl cried.
She had lots yet to learn,
She told me.
So we prayed together
Hoping for one more day.
And yesterday was one fine day,
But yesterday was a dream.

Yes, yesterday was a dream
And yesterday was a long long day.

Hey you gys, I thought I might have been forgotten, this site is so succesful now (but then it always was)

Thanks you so much for your replies, it's good to know I still remaind, in your thoughts :-)

Hiya Bal, still uttering sweet words I see *g*

Marty, that day is soon to be upon us, ince more.

Sunshine, you do wharever is right, I have no problem with that.  I only hoped that someone would come up with a child's prayer, for that is what I ask :-)

Thank you Vivien, very much :-)

what I would like is sinple words, words that children can relate to in times of stress, worry, a little kindness..etc

words that show they are loved and to ask whe things go wrong for comfort and understanding.

perhaps, what we, as children, may have wished to read :-)

Gosh, some of you remembered me..

thank you :-)

Just a friendly bump. Tho this is not poetry, in VERY special circumstances, we do allow this kind of post in Open.

I hope you all take a moment to consider writing something for Cindy to use. What greater gift can we give than to use our talent to write something to brighten the day of a sick child?

Thank you.

Thanks everyone, everyone is being so kind :-) (and cause I hit reply I can't thank everyone cause I can't see the names)

I've come in for a sneaky look to see what may have been left for me, thanks for the submissions both here and directly to me, they're great :-) Just one thing, I will be adding a submissions list but if you leave one here, could you also give me a link if you have a website please (my way of saying thanks to everyone who is helping me to get this off the ground) and also copyright info etc :-)

I've been doing some work offline but I'm ready to start adding some links and the poems.

Nan, if you read this, could I 'borrow' your little rainbow please, it would be perfect?

Suthern!!!!!

Thanks again, everyone, I'm bound to get a lot wrong to start with so will be constantly editing, but I'll sneak back again and tell you when it's up :-)

HUGS all and many many thanks :-)

I don't know but I think maybe
I've seen the eyes of Virgin Lady
She's the one that named me Toe
And it stays with me, wherever I go.

HI YA SWEET CINDY....EMAIL ME...TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO?....

Cindy and Suthern and Local Rebel and White Rose and LongJohn and Jellybeans and Passing Shadows and Kristie Sue and a few others used to belong to a poetry site called Thrive....many years ago...Cindy went by VirginLady...(of course, you know what a "Toerag" can do with a name like that)..and I used to play hard with her....teasin' and such....well, I went by Buzz...cuz that's what I does, best anyhow....she would "rebuke" me constantly....always in trouble, (It was the company I kept...LongJohn etc.)....she called me a rascally mischievious Toerag.....(just cuz I wanted to be a Toad in her hole)....which is some kind of British meal with Yorkshire pudding and sausage)...well, I looked up a "Toerag" and found out it's British slang for some kind of "Rascal"....and, the name fit...so I started posting as Toerag....and that's how Toerag got his "rag".....and for those of you that don't know Cindy....she is an angel....truly!!!!...kind of like a sister to me, (and yes, this is one of the only examples I can think of considering incest).......yassee Cindy?....some Toerag's never change!!!! Luv ya..good luck with your project...

Cindy? Cindy who? Geesh it's great to see you here again! Drop by more often ya hear... we miss you!

I found this little ditty in my archives you might like to use:

Frail Child

Little fingers, tiny toes,
A lofty love, not yet a woe.
I hope you’ll find a shelter safe;
A guiding spirit till the grave.

May Angels touched by children’s tears
Guard all the infants of this sphere,
A loving grace through every daybreak
For fragile souls like crystal snowflakes

Cindy, I hope this will help you?

I wish I may
I wish I might
Have the wish
I wish tonight

From way up in
the sky above
You are looking down
with Your great love

With an outstretched
tender hand
You reach out
across the land

Will You hold me close
in Your arms, I pray
And keep me from harm
along life's way
