i wonder if they feel it,
i 'd like to think they do,
somehow,
as i do,
at least intuitively,
one would think,

they, being the ones
out there
day to day,
on the frontlines,
experiencing life,
firsthand,
soon imitated by art,
inspiration,
as time unfolds,

some watch from cold steel poles,
or building rooftops,
eating seeds,
stuck in winter, not having flown off,

some stand there, lifeless almost,
hanging arms of kicked off shoes and coats,
on the warmer winter days,
appearing so complacent,
as if nothing is going on,

will they feel life begin again,
as its precious gift
is bestowed upon them,
dressed in pretty pinks ,
or other shades of the season,

those that parade on shoreline rocks,
or take to the open sky,
on a whim passing by,

do they realize the metamorphasis
about to occur,
as i do,

does passion run through
their roots,
as desire runs through
my veins,
craving something new,
climbing walls until,

sensing change,
feeling movement,
creativity breaking thru,
so much going on
inside,
despite, this plight
of what is...........

does passion run through
their roots, as
desire runs through
my veins,

great lines... I enjoy your take on life.
