Made of Fluff

I don't have a deepened mind,
but read on "Passions" all the time.
Almost every word I read,
yet only some can plant a seed.

I have a mind made up of fluff.
For me that's really good enough.
But when I try to understand,
the written word of yours gets canned.

I place it in it's holding zone.
awaiting others with minds they hone.
I read replies until I see,
their meanings clear, then post for me.

So if you see me not in words
but lurking 'round the forums herds,
I'm spending it, my time to spare,
understanding the words you share.

M

i do that to,
although i just took the first slice here, of your wordpie,
insightful and could have taken the words out of my mouth too, at times, on here,
sometimes i need to digest till i get some,
guess that could be said of mine too!

Oh, I do so know what you mean! Only I also have some gauze mixed in with the cerebral fluff! lol

I am glad that I am not alone! I sometimes feel downright out of the loop! I frequently catch myself saying, "Put your thinking cap on, Linda!"

Have a glorious day!

Maureen - oh, how true. Sometimes I sit here with my fingers on the keys, as if my muse will give me something insightful to use as a comment for the poem. Well done. Chris
