I Want Candy

Could a young boy
walk into a candy store
and not want to touch,
to taste and to partake
of the candies
contained within?

A woman I know thinks
she could move in with me
and maintain a position
of respectability.

In other words,
I could look
but not touch.
I would lick my
lips yet not taste.
And I would admire
without desire?

I am sure that
I know myself
much better
than her
and I want
my candy.
