dry grass rustles in the wind,
endless seas of life,
live accross the steppes,
where the sun blazes upon a thirsty ground,
mountains wisper in the distance,
I'll miss it
when I leave

the Wind is invisible.

I miss you, when you leave.
loved this delicate whisper in the sun.

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

(smiles) Oh Liz, I agree with Janet, you MUST submit, all you have to do is submit your favorite poem(s) and vote for others and you find a chance to get in the book, yay! (kiss on cheek) I too love the plains because of the simplicity and serenity they offer, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Liz, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Oh, I love this one Wind. Yes, you must enter one for the book. You are a gifted young woman whose talent should not go unread. Chris

You transported me into another world and another time...my imagination took flight with  your descriptive writing. I envisioned Mongols riding steppe ponies and clouds of churned up dust as they thundered across the plains...

~ A poem can take on a life of its own once the poet has set it free...

Warm hugs,
