Who was first to pull
the string at the center
where we knitted together
cosily with common dreams
& fantasies?

Who first noticed
the imperfection
marring the beauty of
our always & never?
thus changing us forever

was it me

who summoned the tempest
that left us breathless,
scattered & holding on
as though it mattered
to what litte was left
of our tapestry?

such a tragedy
'cause what might
have been was lost
almost as soon as we
began, so answer then

this...

if the pull of a tiny
string can began such
a damaging event of things,
could the merging of our lips
restore my heart's
dearest wish?

Wonderful and expressive presentation of both images and feelings left by the unraveling.

Nicely said and done Sunkissed!

*enjoyed this much*
