With tattered clothes
and vacant eyes,
he sat alone
beneath
grey skies
amid the pigeons
in the park
on a wooden bench
til
day turned dark,
a furrowed brow
and
greying beard,
upon his cheek
a dry tear smeared;
darkness fell
upon the park,
he was no more,
he'd disappeared.

Beneath shaded trees
and summers passed
dressed in despair
seen clear through
she sat alone
to cry her eyes
pondering
her altered state
she brushed her hair
fine lines to trace
and felt him there
too little too late
to turned a curl
and hold her face
a look beyond the shadowed grey
and stage a tear in dark disgrace
tokens left to slip away
stained upon the bench.

I really liked your poem in the park
and the inspiration I found in it.

Thanks~

Writing seems familiar, somehow.

Liked it a lot, though sad.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Tim, this is sad but well-written, sweet friend, it saddens me to see many truly feel this way and I give them hugs to light their ghostly hearts! (sad sigh) This is well-expressed, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
