Minions of darkness feed
on twisted sadist desire
on many a dim lit eve

I feel the darkness
thick
probing inside
violating

The voices once imagined
silent
now scream
in rage
breaking dilluted fantasy
and daydream

Feel the chill crawling up
your spine
the hair standing up
as cold night wind blows

Your fear
feeds
your prison
locked inside your mind
afraid of the deamons
that may lurk
just outside

When did the sun die?
Good and evil
once dichotomy
now in bed
with blasmpemous throes
of ectasy
spawning infants
of ingnorrance to plague
shallow minds

As I walk the night
I see things I shouldn't see
but as day comes
I realize they never leave
only run to shadow
behing my vacant eyes.

You never cease to amaze me.  The entire piece, especially the lines above, blew me away.

(big hugggsssssss) You know, the way you described good and evil merging and spawning those shadowed infants really got to me, I never thought of it like that before but it truly feels like that but the kids are immediately obfuscated and just solitary shadows and tat feeling sends a shiver up my spine! (sigh) This is well-said, sweet friend, I too hate the dark and that is why I usually get to bed late after midnight, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brad, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I don't think this got the amount of responses it so deserves.
