If I Could But Dream

If I could dream
I would dream of you
Of sanctuary yet unseen
A healing place with soothing views

Perched above the morning frost
A vista through the river bend
Where lover’s hearts were lost
And souls did mend

Where I dreamt we’d sit
And wonder why
And how it is we fit
Hoping one day to fly

But it’s a peace
I’ll never know
Another golden fleece
Upon crimson snow

A waking vision just passing by
One more fantasy captured in seam
That I may yet live, perhaps even to fly
If only one day I could but dream

I don't know where I'm running now, I'm just running on... ~ Jackson Browne

Oh, "crimson snow", what an excellent phrase of contridiction.

(smiles) Oh Eddie, in your dreams you can be anything you want and you can go wherever you want and deep down, you already know how to fly, so spread those wings and soar, soar, soar!!! (big hugggssssss) Let the golden fleece enshroud you, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
