When last I saw you,
the dappled light of
an Alaskan summer danced
in the willows
and playfully hid
you from view
of wayward hunters.
I waved my final goodbye,
and wished you both
long life,
in many more seasons,
winter to spring.
My twin adopted moose,
Moosatchie and Willow;
you roam the quiet woods
of my heart
even as I write
this poem to you,
from me...hiding
in the dark
of a Rockies night,
dreaming upon the stars
and missing my
rainbow of dancing lights,
and you two.

Oh lord, I've created a monster! Sorry, Ed!

What a memory to have, Midnite -- thanks for sharing a bit of it with us southerners.

Baffled Ed?
Your woodlore poem triggered this one, indirectly.

Ratleader, smiling at you. You're quite welcome.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, I wish I could adopt a wild animal like that, I love animals so much and I too accept them as friends to my heart always, no matter what species or how big or small! (kiss on cheek) I'm sure they miss you too but will always remember you, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ah Kacy...
Sounds as though you may be missing Alaska just a little.
Such lovely memories you shared here.

I am still chuckling! I knew what you meant by thanking Wranx, but I wondered if there might be other readers who had not read his poem and might have been a bit confused! ooops I'm chuckling again! Wranx's replies cracked me up again!

What a uniquely wonderful experience and opportunity you had! You now have this lovely poem to remind you of that special time.

I love how you are out there saving the forests, the underprivileged, the animals...
Kacy, you truly are an angel among us.

Warm hugs and an appreciative smile,
Linda
