Within a pause
I drink out the sweetness
of your love.
Like musk, our breath merges
unafraid,
and gazing endlessly
with tearfull eyes
wigned lips surrender
to feel just a last touch.

How intensely,
-Sublime... so sublime...-
Thirsty lovers sing.
How tempting,
from lips to tongues
communion is born
and into a holy kiss
the extension of their souls.

Etain.

Etain,

Welcome!  What a nice, languid first post.  I love the image of the holy communion--the kiss... drawing together on several different levels.

Thank you for sharing this,

A kiss is just that, an extension of ones self, and the merging of feelings with another.

So softly spoken.
