warm and cold romance
passionate winds whirling dance
awesome spectacle

north easterly winds
sculpting sediment canyons
desert sand castles

blowing tumbleweeds
sand storm obscuring view
coyote lying low

three wind tossed kestrels
on a roller-coaster ride
enjoying cheap thrills

blustery north wind
making white caps on the pond
clouds in a hurry

looking at the clouds
blue in the rushing ice-wind
through free flowing space

oak branches waving
wondering which leaf on tree
will be next to go

wind whipped waves are dark
storm introducing winter
arrives with a bang

now and then a cry
on the wind...sketching a face
upon ancient trees

swiftly moving storm
a puffy cloud carousel
playground for eagles

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.

Aloha with warmest regards, Cheryl Stewart Koomoa

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this MUST be in Reflections, you bet I'd vote for it, your words always are a playground of imagery where eagles and millions of other things always welter and jump around in! (kiss on cheek) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, this is going in my library, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Cheryl, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Hi, Cher!

Each poem demanded to be read again. The second reading was slow, deliberate and savored!

Warm hugs,
Linda

KoKo~
I just love it when the warm 'wind' blows your thoughts our way~

Enjoyed it all ... but, you know me ... this most of all~

'now and then a cry
on the wind...sketching a face
upon ancient trees'

Now THAT'S awesome !
