The night is ever glowing Ever growing Ever sewing It weaves into your lust Smoothly like thick, dripping honey Slickly like the running rain Sneakily like a garden snake Quietly, she creeps She seeps She weeps She is walking with your blood, like Mane walks with lion Map walks with traveler Mandarin bud walks with fruit. Silently, she roars She soars Deplores She is yours. You are hers. You are her broken slurs. I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. |
