That you
     are the mold maker,
did with me,
         as you wish.

You decided,
     a pot broken,
     a useless dish?

Of what purpose, then
this, my dismay?

     Unable to utilize,
fabric of fortune.

Nor,

flaunt the folly
of flag-waving my aura.

Were it you
     all this time,
be it so....

Yet, ever the question,
please?

I'll ask once again,

Who then,

      ~am I?~

Pat, these lines struck me the most..it's a really lousy feeling to find that you care when your mind tells you you shouldn't...

Hi Kaile,

The title says much. I don't feel this way, personally....maybe, what seems like one hundred years ago, I did. But certainly don't now.  Some of us are truly broken, spiritually, but, if we stay out of His way, God has a plan and purpose for our lives, so much better than any path we could have chosen. Thank you for taking the time to read and reply. Hugs. Pat

I like this, I think all of us at a time must be broken before the Lord, we learn only then what it means to be dependant on Him, and boy is it humbling!
Enjoyed, as always!   Hugs and love,

Always, Alyssa

(big hugggssssss) Oh Patricia, this is so very true, sweet friend, I think we must be seen as fragments before we can truly become greenware from God's pottery wheel, so we can understand our faults and overcome them with love and strength ever so true! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Patricia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Pat~
I find your thoughtful pennings to contain such golden words of wisdom~

AGAIN, I am thankful that God put you in my circle~

'Some of us are truly broken, spiritually, but, if we stay out of His way, God has a plan and purpose for our lives, so much better than any path we could have chosen.'

Your own response says so much about you~
And I have come to know that you are indeed the beautiful words you've written~

Bless you on your path dear poetess~
You have a gift of not only your poetry to share ... but a light to hold so that others may hopefully find their way to His Glory~

His *gifts* to you ... are to be shared~
