An Omens Shadow

Omens lace their filigree.
Among the shadows jamboree
Laying glitter on the trees
Dancing mystery on the leaves

Weaving spells upon the boarder
Sweeping up the minds disorder
Spilling mist o’er lover’s lane
Tinctures on the eyes of vein

And in this gray, hides a seem
The phantom of your wile or dream
That leads you into umber shades.
Or leaves you with a flush in spades.

You play the hand with soft transpire.
And wait the ghosts of your desire.
Grasp upon the spirits swell
And try to read the echoes jell.

But omens are of shadows wend.
And seldom offers you an end.

How does he do it, the people ask how?
this righteous old fellow, I only say wow!
Perhaps a machine, the energizer bunny,
As regular as clockwork, he's bright, sad, then funny,
But one things for sure, he always on the money.

You are one amazing fellow with your daily poetic output. Enjoyed.

Smiling at what Tim said. I thoroughly enjoyed this, but, that is not surprising...something to think about, for sure....

Enjoyed, hugs, Pat

Oh I just love the way you do what you do...
this is classic Sy-guy poetry!!
Just look at all the imagery and clever word play, look at the rhyme divine and the waaaaaay coooool lines that blow me mothy mind.

Omens lace their filigree.
Among the shadows jamboree
Laying glitter on the trees
Dancing mystery on the leaves

that verse alone is poetic gold...
look at the imagery you created with just a few perfect poetic words...with just two lines you got us all invisioning the trees sparkling...I just love how you do your imagery so grand in its succinct subtlety

Tinctures on the eyes of vein

that line is cooler than a mere moth has words for.

That leads you into umber shades.
Or leaves you with a flush in spades.

Grasp upon the spirits swell
And try to read the echoes jell.

those couplets win the waaaay cool award for the day

But omens are of shadows wend.
And seldom offers you an end.

and last..but never ever least are those cadenced kissed closing couplets that you always tie your poetry up with a wisdom bow for us.
Like I always say...youre too cool for school and ya wrote the poetic rule

( and this moth will always be your winkie fool) *L*

That is my twinky winky for the day. You know I'm on a diet. My ego has reached a
heavy weight. I'm glad it's an invisable state. LOL WWRS
