Ripped a hole in my shadow,
peeked into my shine,
my golden essence
you endeavored to find.

Fine fragrance of fantasy,
splashed me in splendor,
bathed in the lusciousness,
of my psyche, so tender.

No need to search farther,
downed velvet volition,
the soft side your soul,
confirmed intuition.

My long lost lover, come
we'll dream dance delight,
our merged souls sway,
in love's lavender light.

Pleasant passion unended
our joy we belong,
forever and always
in together's sweet song.

So sweet, soft, smooth. Love it, I think the first lines are my favorite, "ripped a hole in my shadow" bring so many pictures to mind. Enjoyed much

very dreamy,
oh, if love was only this uncomplicated all the time,
but then again,
what would i have to write about?

Nancy Lee,

Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for reading.

the-loner-23,

Happy you found this beautiful and romantic.

Alyssa,

Sweet, soft and smooth? Wow, thanks!
I liked the first line, too. My grandsons (11 & 14) were here for the better part of the week-end...and they came up with a couple of words needed to rhyme later in poem. What fun! Glad to see you back here...hugs.

Tanya,

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply, and that you love this.

Raph,

Those are my two favorites lines, as well.  At first I had written danced in my sunshine....but, I opted for this and like it better...thanks.

Ethel,

Thanks for the beautiful.

Majnu,

Thanks for reading and replying.

Inked,

Grinning here...I think you'd find something; may all your dreams come true... hugs...

James,

Glad you liked the title and enjoyed.

Dixie,

Given your username, I can understand your ouch....

Hope,

Thank you for taking the time to respond and for the wonderful to see.

Hugs, to you all. Pat

Very nice work, Pat, loved the wonderful and creative imagery in this piece.

OhPat~
How truly remarkable is this penning~

YOU, lady ... are totally remarkable~

What a pure pleasure to how you have taken your craft and worked it so well~

I love you, my TRUE friend~

Keep *gifting* the words being shared ... for HE has decreed it~

Have a beautiful day of peace and contentment~

If and when 'they' ever let you grace these pages again ... I will still be here shooting my arrows straight~
