come outside and see it’s looking rather odd you know hangin’ over me it’s not a crescent that’s for sure it’s turned the other way and the darkened side, it seems no more like it’s gone somewhere to play or maybe it has fallen, gone to another realm where dwarves and wise men congregate and gnomes are at the helm where’er it’s gone, it is no more within our eb’ny sky it has escaped, that seems for sure I would not tell a lie! ©February 23, 2003 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
