Faith,
a pristine lake
serene waters
reflect the heavens

Truth,
a stone cast
scattered image
in rings betrayed

Wisdom,
a trowel which
fashions stone
into new walls

reads like I Ching...just enough imagery to apply to all, methinks. Almost spartan, but with depth.

(and I will be around...sigh. I've been feeding drunken masked people over here...)

Short and to the point, but not simple.
Bad habits can be changed. At least I hope so.

walls built
breached
but brilliance
bestows
ripples
to the pond
of thought
hell... I don't know... popped into my head when I read yours....

Raph - had to bring this back up - loved it the first time I read it - but it still needs to breathe . . .

Faith,

awesome write - really spoke to me
my faith was shattered when I found the truth (not taught by a church) & now I/m rebuilding with the tools in my own hands.
my own inner temple - formed by my wisdom & understanding / not something written by men to manipulate the masses

. . . all that we see is but a dream within a dream  . . .

Faith, Truth, Wisdom, you touch upon immensity in just one breath ....enough to ponder over forever!

Thanks Sue, unfortunately it doesn't say it all, it's the second and third verses that do

Dreambuilder excellent work, long and hard road isn't it? But in the end worth every moment and fear.

Dixie glad to be of service and hope you find your peace

Grazie Margherita, always an honour when you read and reply the way you do.
