Beneath the gaze of azure skies
pondered o'er impassiond breeze,
of a moment, spent in forming,
links of possiblities.

Might there come an understanding
to this nature, if immersed,
in this sensory surrounding
common to all things on Earth?

Billowed clouds to form a pillow
for the back-drop of a dream.
Flowing thoughts in streams cascading
into pools where softly gleams

proof of our impending transience,
as with all our great constructs,
falls the night upon this vision
all things scheme to run amuck.

Where with-in is proper order,
might clear skies still persevere?
As the wind of change is blowing
notes that only poets hear.

(smiles) I think as long as the zephyr exists, the breath of poetry will always have these thoughts streaming around us and just when we thought we lost something you know it is in the updraft somewhere and will come back down! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is precious, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet William, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Doc--the beauty of the imagery and construction of this poem, almost kept me from the heaviness of the thought behind it.  Pondering is a poet's job, I think.

Noah,
regrets for not replying sooner. I've always liked the word "zephyr", it's soothing to the soul.
Doc

Sunshine,
You, my dear, are welcome anytime! Turn right at your keyboard, follow your instincts
and before you know it , we'll be sharing a cuppa.
Doc

Martie,
Thanks for replying. Same story, different day. I realize we're all much busier than
anyone should be expected to be, however,to take this long in answering is simply un-excusable, on my part. I'm glad you stopped by, for you to comment on imagery, I'll take as a true compliment.
