Spending time in the wait
posessing too many clocks
to cast lonely unfulfilled sight upon

How can this be life
handprints on surfaces grasping
for substance that will hold me like you do

Eyes fallen into submission
caressing my own fingertips
the way you gather my many hearts

In statue standstill
no words pass your lips
but sail in my mind as you whisper with eyes

Balancing changing time
though not in my arms of warmth
my minds eye remembers moments treasured.

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

Gemma, I'm missing my Gary-baby, too. I miss him as soon as we have to leave each other.......

The image of having too many clocks--very akin to not having a place to look where one not reminded of the time to pass--before the loved one can return... is a powerful image/feeling.

Thank you for sharing this piece,

OH MY GOSH....I really HAVE been away far too long.
This is incredibly written, beautifully formed and I could not find a single flaw.

OK there are my words of wisdom, now just simple reader's response, Shucks, I wish I wrote that....

It is very nice to meet you, and I love your words. This is truly beautiful.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Gemma, this is very heartfelt, sweet friend, I too know this missing feeling and how I long to stare into loves eyes for the first time in my life and actually hear the whisper tremble! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
