Punctured breathing
     escapes from depth......
           i thought i'd covered.

Healing is process deceased
     i love you.......
still i'm waveringly posessed by only me

Questioning my silence
objects rise and fall in my lungs
            catching something you don't recognise

Fallen into this for lifetimes supply
     interrupted by fear....
clinging to hairs that stand on end

              when you touch me

I pace backwards unobtainable
      inhaling weakening products of you....
               burst all honeymoon delight

Genuine alarm defeats my softness
      disregarding yours for me.....
               in this confusion

              i'm finding you

Soft motions alluringly beckon
         eyes i live for
i'm so sorry i engage you

              in my minds tricks.

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

It is easy to be wary and perfectly understandable. Once hurt, it is hard to trust again. ~True~ love always wins out, no matter the trials and tribulations. It is okay to go slow.

Liked this a lot, Hugs, Pat

gemjop,

I especially liked this strophe,

Fallen into this for lifetimes supply
     interrupted by fear....
clinging to hairs that stand on end

              when you touch me

That idea of goosebumps, set off very nicely in this piece.  Your construction of falling--almost cascading strophes was visually interesting to follow as well.  Almost like a wishful caress--though the poem speaks of love's rougher moments.

Enjoyed it,

(big hugggsssssss) I think the problem is I am too trustworthy and sadly so many don't keep their promises and it can be so frustrating! (sad sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
