Present Tense

I cannot speak of present tense.
My present tense has no suspense.
My motor turns at idle speed.
And my dragon has slowed indeed.

I tease my dragon’s wake of smoke.
He blows no fire. T’would make him choke.
He sits around in gloom and frown
And seems to be forever down.

Rustic exuberance for his age
Flirtatious his play on stage
Outrageous his piercing remarks
Infectious but fireless sparks

He says things he’d never have dare
Makes love to all the maidens fair
And promises the dreams of youth
Without an atom of the truth

Forgive his play on meek in wile.
This dragon thinks in old world style.

...hehehe...sounds like he's aging with style!!!  Enjoyed.

This is not the dandy dragon that I've come to know ...
when visiting here, Randy is the star of the show.
He's daunting and daring ... dashing and debonair ...
he's the belle of the ball ... the Astaire of the affair.

I tell you true ... this aint no joke ...
Randy is blowing much more than smoke.
Wise men say "where there is smoke there's fire" ...
this dragon's full of hell fire and burning with desire.

Forgive his scorch and singe from his binge of never learn ...
when returning home from his roam, he's suffering from heartburn.

(smiles) Your Randy speaks in the silver tongue of the chivalrous times, yet also flies in fancy with hope for the future in which we can behold this renaissance by your gracious sword of light! (big hugggssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
