In soft whispers,
I want to make love to you.
So especially slow,
that I touch every part
of your tenderness.

In caresses of my hearts desires,
wanting the touch the very core
of your inner feelings.
Treating you so divine,
that your heart melts
into me forever.

In saying words, that your tears
will love me with.
You will cuddle me,
nuzzling ever fiber within me
into a heavenly electrostatic shock
of being blessed by an angel.

I may never be a King.
But I will treat you
as my Princess of hearts.
For I just a pawn
in your embrace.

In satin we will find the heavens.
In silk the static electricity.
In chiffon the delicate textures.
And in your skin upon mine
pure ecstasy.

In the gentle moves I make
in the morning sun.
My fingers tracing your body
as if sculpturing paradise.
In every stroke, you are my canvas.
For in your exquisite beauty
creativity will never cease.
For I have been truly blessed
being with a living portrait
from the stars above.

So I will dream about tonight
when we will reinvent
what love is about.
By merging together
into a fire storm!

Dave,

This has to be included in the small list of one of the most fantastic love poems I've read. So many touching lines and thoughts. This is so special.

My favorite stanza is the one starting with: "In satin......."

Truly beautiful love poetry at its finest. I also like "reinvent what love is about........"

So much in this, rereading I find more I didn't see and feel first time and it is simply a pleasure to reread it....

Hugs,  Pat
