Apparently my learning is not done
as I have been leaning into thoughts of you

all I can hear
are yesterday's whispers
encouragement beneath my wings
all I can have
is remembering
to float me
and I fear
it shall turn into a gloat
and submerge this raft of boat

I miss you.

If I had a voice, I believe
I would have a song
but laryngitis threatens my cords
and age dissipates my inkwell

scratching of voice,
and nib
are discouraging...

worse yet, the scrunch of onion skin
for I would have written
my thinnest thought
on the sheer of it

I miss you so.
Apparently my learning is not done
but where is my mentor,
my muse?
Must I search the seven seas
follow the winds
lay sticks to fire,

will you see the smoke

return my voice

that I might reclaim song?

Oh Elan, this one is beautiful,
even though it hurts....

With writes like this I pray that age never dissipates your ink well!--and I am quite certain that it won't!

~ May your ink always be black and flowing freely...

Warm hugs,

oh Elan...my my....
me thinks you found your voice and penned  quite a lovely melody.
this is a bittersweet beauty.

(sigh) Oh Elan, this is wonderful, sweet friend, know the muse will speak again, it is all in your soul and let it breathe easily then the words will come out! (big hugggsssss) This is lovely, sweet friend, this would be great for Reflections, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
