To look at her frail body
And greying skin
Makes one think
Let her be at rest
She has suffered enough

Her breathing is labored
Her right side paralyzed
Sometimes you got to get in her face
Just so she can recognize you

She can no longer speak
Can barely squeeze a persons hand
She is so weak
She just wants to sleep
All the time

They can't give her drink anymore
Because she doesn't have a gag reflex anymore
She has to wear adult diapers
And always needs looked after
She doesn't want to suffer
Like this anymore

Weakening

Cold hands means a warm heart

Definitely a poem worth putting in the book.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Julie, my heart cries out to your grandmother, sweet friend, I certainly couldn't stand to live like that, I send my prayers and hugs of comfort her way, know we are all here if you need shoulders to lean over, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Julie, I'm so sorry about your Grandmother. I was real close to both my Grandmothers, too. It hurts really bad when they get so sick.
My thoughts are with you, friend...

It's always hard when someone is dying. Nice work.

Hi Julie,

I am going through this very thing right now with my mother in-law, I can feel these words for sure.

Love, Cerenity
