* * * *

A befitting day for a funeral
On this cold and rainy morn
Another life has ended
As another has been born

This man was loved by many
They've all come to say goodbye
You can almost hear a pin drop
As a tear escapes my eye

Flowers adorn his coffin
Blooms of yellow, blue and white
He'll be forever in my memory
As his soul takes wing in flight

We bow our heads in sorrow
As they play Amazing Grace
I hope he'll soon find peace
As he enters that other place

All the mourners dressed in black
Now gather in the rain
As I try with all my might
To conceal my grief and pain

This chapter of life has ended
As we now turn another page
We must cherish every moment
While we're here upon life's stage

* * * *

I guess this is part fact and part
fiction as some of it relates to
the way I was feeling when my own
father died.

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Sue, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, I know how much you miss your fasther but know he will always love you so much and is never truly gone, as his spirit is free and will always guide you with light and love! (wipes tears) This is compassionately said, sweet friend, I too have been to funerals and can't help but cry, God Bless You, we all love you so much! (sends angel hugs your way) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I went to one of these not long ago... and you told of it well. Too well.

Sue;  I guess all funerals remind us of people we love, who have been taken from us.
It's never a happy experience!  Very well written and hope the sadness falls away!
