Written Wanderer

I am lost in the pages that I write
be it day or night
I sit and type in this maze of words
to win her and whisk her away
with quick wit and play

giggles return as my poems are read
I wonder is she lying in bed
She leaves little hints
as a possible game

But her words do not light my way
so I stumble in the dark and pray
that I find my way

I am not great explorer of grammar
nor can I nail pronunciation with a verbal hammer
But my need to please this Mysterious angel
lifts me to meet my fears
so I plunge deep into this literature to win my conquest or at least give it my best
just so I can quiet this pounding heart in my chest

this was great... "she" should feel lucky to have someone write such beautiful poetry for her...
