In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-02-19 08:53 PM

Unearthly mist     veiling
             eyes of endless darkness,
  sculpting  winds
creating--beauty
a soul  seeking
storms    in the distant :
    tempting  images    of gold

How far then
do we round edges

Masked blue and green
        sleeping        colors       soft-gentle
meaningful fate:
     {through a sea    of  tangled trees}
before     red fingers   of sunset
cascade  like velvet rain
                                     crossing  rivers

The awaiting    moon
reflecting  tears
              {sometimes in the night I dream
through amber shadows}

               {of snowflakes resting    in palms
of my life --  simple memories, moments}

leaves and sky: smudge  the hue --
~
Flow between me
            the breeze will teach April
                                             to fall

Take me where the tides start
So I can pull you into me

(smiles) Oh Lauren, this is lovely, sweet friend, this made me smile as we have so many aspens in Colorado here and I just love seeing them against the sunrise and sunset as the embers of the leaves look like fireflies, yay! (kiss on cheek) This is precious, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sublime wordplay and imagery. While I hate to single them out, these lines, my favourite

before     red fingers   of sunset
cascade  like velvet rain

If Cummings were female, she would have written like this; from the heart, in a place of softness that only few know.

Thank you.
