Wrap us in this color grey
Blending both the lighter side
With our darker
As we let these shadows
Hide the finger reach
Futile release of hope

I’ll touch your seams
Where in join you lie
Seeing if they part

You…
Find the spot in mind
That allows me tears
And release
To see if I give

But we will not seek light
Instead the dim will drape us
Not letting eyes reveal

Truths

Scars

Lies
   Made to ourselves
       In delusional moments
           Of must be

Wrap us in this color grey
And if in the morning
We are not blinded
By rising palette
Touch me

Again

Grey
draped gently
over shoulders
can be as comforting
as a quiet storm...

enjoyed.

I love the joining of more than one color. Without colors the world would be very boring. Love the way you expressed your thoughts here.

You are really spoiling us, but giving us all this terrific poetry. This is a definite keeper, though I keep most to study them....tho. hasn't helped me much, yet...smiling....

This one absolutely made me cry. It is precious in the very tentative 'hope' in it?

Thank you, Pat

Damn, I like that.  Just on the edge of comfort.

(sigh) A simple twist of fate makes grey, but an act or expression of faith can make colorful again! (big hugggsssssss) This is a wonderful poetic touch, sweet friend, I love the way you convey yourself, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I've been told,
I look good in gray...
and your shawl
is warm...
