This pretty day shines full on me
To somehow sign so happily
A time when brilliance dominates
To lessen what mere time dictates

Then in the shimmer and by view
To keep me glowing in renew
A point to secret moments trill
To leap upon this ride by will

This pretty day of blue and gold
To somehow strengthen have and hold
A time to shine into these eyes
To point again to open skies

Then somehow by the same foretold
To listen close with hearts of gold
A point of promise by the hand
To walk in brilliance on the land

A great descriptive poem.. I love how you compare the emotions to the state of nature as well. Great work.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.--Jesus Christ
