How Could I forget

How could I forget
the first date--you and me
when snow reflected the sunlight
and I fell into the Love Sea

How could I forget
the first kiss--you and me
whilst you gave me your heart
and the heart's key

How could I forget
the first March--you and me
your beautiful rosebud bloomed
and I was the happy bee

Welcome to Passions! This is a wonderful first post... the progression of love is a wonderful thing, and you captured it well. Thanks for posting!

Thank you all for your replies. I really like this forum. I'm a Chinese poet, and it's not very easy for me to write poetry in English. I'm only trying it. Hope everyone will help me. I also like translating English poems into Chinese. If anyone would like me to translate their poems, please email me at fireuranus@hotmail.com. Thank you again.

Very nice.  I like how it seems to display a gradual progression of the relationship even though the poem itself is short.  I hope to see more of your work.  Welcome from one new member to another

Goldboat, we have several poets from all over the world who share one thing in common; they are bi- or even tri-lingual [or more!]  I am sure you will find a great resource in Passions as a willing poetic harbor where we darn near stand in line to help others.

First off, you may want to sign up for Poetry Workshop [see Nan] and then perhaps review our English Workshop.

Once again, I'm looking forward to reading your poetry!

Was it first love or first chance?  On ly the young growing older can discern that.  This poem certainly brings back memories.
