I had dreams of colors
that were more than just a hue
but a practiced eye of hypnosis
and I could feel the color bleed
feel myself
melt into that
becoming
not a perception of you
but knowing
what blue feels like
from...inside.

So I say
the rosary.
I cut the blue
magick dots
from the pages
of tabloid rags
staring flame--
indigo--
concentrating--
crack this philosopher stone
gaze upon rosetta
pour his aether--chart the stars
in smudge of smoke
do it...before the iron slams!
before he smothers--
tap the code upon the pipe
give me word
that we might live
geometry of red eyes
and white knuckled
blue-veined grip
make the bars give
up their water
and blue?...is unfaded gray
leaving
  desperate
    stains in smoke
tears of flame
  the pale queen quickened
in this--
her harvest
of the firedrake.

Karan,

I really enjoyed this... Thank you for sharing.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.
