standing on a shadow's lace

Sand(part 3)

sand has become
the tender
tear drops
of time
something I can
sink my feet into
clinging to me
sticking in creases
it’s grass grazes
my skin leaving
marks from
moments of
the shifting slide
of change
in permanence
where the grains
are here today
blow another tomorrow
but always
here for me
