Kind maiden, dost thou have but one glance, For a lowly sir, as I? For in but one glance, I might see Heaven And all Her stars, And all Her beauty thereof. I look not upon the sky, Which holds not, close to thy fairness. And clouds have not, tender lips That I might feel to mine. One glance, that I may dance Upon the moon and soar together With birds upon air. For wings have not the strength, To lift me, as thine eyes. One glance and if death crawled At my feet, I shant mourn, but Merrily rest in my last, With but a glance. Deep are the oceans, which swim In thine eyes, No color, more precious. Look upon me and thou shalt free my imprisoned self... With but a glance. |

Wow...That was really good!! lol, it kind of reminds me of edgar allen poe for some reason...but most of poe's stuff was dark...I don't know, maybe just the writing style? Anyways, it was a good read! I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. |
