Inside the shadow's shadow

0 posted 2003-02-15 06:29 PM

Infatuation,
Concentration,
Destiny,
Confess to me.

Sugary sweet,
Rising heat,
Salty air,
Forbidden Lair.

Broken-out sweat,
Inescapable net,
Unkept secret,
Something so needed.

Devilish purity,
So much security,
Only wanting to tease,
Only wanting to please.

**Quite an old poem of mine...But I found it again when searching through all my poems.***

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

Great poem! It's a good thing that you brought it back out into the light of day!

Very nice poem.
I liked how short it was also.
Got right to the point.
Keep up the good work.
