On A Journey To The Unknown

Yesterday
~ By Sue ~

You were the love of my life
When I became your wife
There was so much I felt inside
Emotions I could never hide

Of myself, I freely gave to you
For a while you did that too
Then all of a sudden you changed
It was my life you had arranged

A love I thought would always last
Now it is only in the past
Your words it seemed were never true
How could you do what you did do

Dreams of yesterday are all gone
But still,  I stand up strong
With memories of yesterday
Of a love that you threw away

I think we should not grow our children to believe in the Barbie world where everything is beautiful and perfect and Ken will always be there.

Sue, you wrote this so beautifully, even though
it is sad. I'm loving your font style, too...

Its too bad that so many things turn out this way. Wonderful write!

Sometimes the memories soften, dear friend, and leave us with determination to make our tomorrows better still...this is poignant, but tender...

Accept these small gifts from my gypsy soul, and let the magik happen!  ~~S~~

im so sorry for your loss, but it
makes my heart smile to know you've
the courage to move on and remain strong.
cheers to you. i know this must have been
hard to write and even harder to go through.
take care
