Then how much is too much? How much is too little? How do you feel about text-based sites, or those that run solely off graphics with a few words thrown here and there?

I think only graphics with few words is a no-no. Too many graphics take away from it, and it takes way to darn long to load.

For us who are still connected by phone line that is.

I think enough would be putting a picture that describes, or enhances what you're trying to show. Enough to add beauty but not overwhelm.

I like graphics but I HATE music when I open a site.

Ya know what Sharon? I don't like it either (even though I have music on my site).

It totally distracts me when I'm trying to read and there's this music playing over and over. I did it at the bequest of my hubby.
