That's not correct, but it's a common confusion. Some servers (like NT) are case-insensitive when it comes to file names, which can potentially cause a LOT of problems when moving from a system that does recognize upper/lower case (like Unix). Because of that, when you name your files, it is strongly recommended to use all lower case (and no spaces). But the contents of the file, on any OS, is case-sensitive - and doesn't matter. As far as the server is concerned, your HTML page is just plain text. It is the browser that takes that text and formats it for the screen.
