Ok!! I fixed it! Wooooohoooo...

I'll put a link here to the 3 pages I have so far.
#2 isn't done completely yet.

BUT, of course I also need some suggestions.
I know I have a lot of "junk" code in the index page. It worked, so I left it, I know I'm going to get marked off for it....

Please tell me what it is not really needed in there. Thanks!!

Hi Becca,

Hmm - in your text call out, you have "comic scan" - do you mean comic sans?

You might want to consider making the body text that's not bolded a little bit dark as some people mey have trouble with the light contrast.

And other than that, it looks great - though as a personal preference I like to have all my code lowercase.

Thanks Chris, I'll have to fix that.
I went through it today, checking code, and tried to make it all lowercase. I totally missed all that!

I tried to go with dark color, and was worried about it, some have told me it wasn't hard to read. So I'll see what I can do with that too.

Thanks!

I have to point out that the case of your code is totally up to you. I prefer my code all in UPPER case, because it's easy to tell the difference between code and text, at-a-glance. It might also be due to the fact that I've always done it that way, I'm used to it, I was taught to do it that way in college. *shrug*

My point? It doesn't matter whether you do your code in upper or lower case - it is TOTALLY up to you.

<font face="Courier New, Arial, Verdana" color="#000080" size="2">Actually Nicole, what I was just taught, is that it's better to do it in lower case.

One you won't get stuck trying to put in a file, when you can't remember what you did Upper and what you did lower.

Two, she said something, about some servers are case sensitive, and would only do lower.
So though she started off for us in UPPER (because it made us easy to see what she was doing), we are supposed to do it in lower.

BTW, I did fix it all. </font>

That's not correct, but it's a common confusion. Some servers (like NT) are case-insensitive when it comes to file names, which can potentially cause a LOT of problems when moving from a system that does recognize upper/lower case (like Unix). Because of that, when you name your files, it is strongly recommended to use all lower case (and no spaces). But the contents of the file, on any OS, is case-sensitive - and doesn't matter. As far as the server is concerned, your HTML page is just plain text. It is the browser that takes that text and formats it for the screen.

Ron thank you for correcting me on that. You're right. It did have to do with files, and/or being moved.
