Oh just click the link. A little sweetness to balance out all the acidity in here.

(And oh Lily, I cried about it too.)

sigh

Oh, the spontaneity of children! This was really really sweet! Thank you for sharing it ... (yes me too ... sob silly !)

(Funny I watched this happy scene immediately after clicking my daily click on the Hungersite ... we must do more for the happiness of ALL the children of the world.)

Thank you, dear Karen!

I just sent this on to my daughter - she'll love it! The ending was a surprise, and I can see why we all need tissues!

I was running a pool of my own head on this thread, wondering who would be the first to view this and use it as an opportunity to take a political jab at me.

Sadly predictable, and I sincerely wish everyone here more joy in their life.

John? Why don't we just go back to ignoring each other. You might find it hard to believe but these things pain me. I've decided to leave it as, "we just don't understand each other" and I'll offer you the olive branch and a privacy fence in the future.

That little girl looks just like my daughter did at that age.

But back to the video, that little girl reminds me of my daughter and myself.

I still have pretty much the same reaction when I'm emotionally overwhelmed...

I think I'll go have a good cry now.

I dreamed one of my pillows was my dog.

sigh...this could go on for years.

I want my Freddy back.

And thank you all for taking a moment to share some happy thoughts with me today.

Oh. and Reb? Not sure if you heard, but Joel Di Gregoria (Tazz) the long time keyboard player for The Charlie Daniels Band was killed in a car crash Wednesday night.

He was a gentle soul and a good friend to our family. One of the least pretentious and most talented musicians I've ever known.

He'll be missed...and if since this thread has become more about feelings than complaint, an administrator can feel free to move it, delete or edit it.

I think I'm just going to log out for the day.

I remember a bubble gum alley. Yep. Graffiti of names, and their gum...some folks chewed so much gum that they could make art with it. I'm trying to remember exactly in what little town it is in, but my Mom and Dad took me to it when I went home for a visit.

I guess an Alley can contain many things. Humor, love, love detered, exploits that can't all be mentioned, and lest we forget, food to feed the hungry, and places to hide our angst, and sometimes, feed our fears.

Serenity, while you and John might not be seeing eye to eye right now, all I will say is this.

You both brought children into the mix. You both brought them showing what is both sincere pleasure and happiness, along with the ultimate of happiness, tears of extreme joy. Even though one is "all about fun" and the other "all about sacrifice".

Serenity, you bring anything you want to the Alley. Even the alleys see sunshine and happiness at times. Makes me think of Lady and the Tramp. We have to know all extremes in a lifetime, and I'm glad you shadowed the alley with love.

P.S. I found the alley. It's in San Luis Obispo. Google it for a giggle.

What was wrong with John's video that he shared? It also showed the joyous spontaneity of children, just in a different setting. I didn't view it as a slap at the original clip shared or as 'insulin' in any way.
