I can't help you with the music but I thank you for this site because I found The Battle of Leyte there. My husband was a 17 year old Gunner during that battle. He was on the U.S.S. Houston. That battle was in October. He turned 18 in November. I met him in the summer of 1948 and we married in Dec of the same year. "late" |

My apologies, John. As pretty as it is, I cannot recal ever hearing it again (and my girlfriend is laughing at me, becauase I know EVERYTHING. lol) It was an interesting video, because I spent a bit of time on Oki, and BC street certainly has changed since 1954. Now, it is where any Marine, Sailor, AIrms, or soldier can relieve his... uh... inner tension, shall we say. What would you attempt to do...if you knew you could not fail?. |
