“The United States provided a steady stream of intelligence to Benazir Bhutto about threats against her before the former Pakistani prime minister was assassinated and advised her aides on how to boost security, although key suggestions appear to have gone unheeded, U.S. officials said Monday.”

I'm curious John.

Is there a difference?

This is something I've often thought about and I would really like to know what you think about that fine line...

*hands up, no weapons*

genuine interest only

I was a lone diver,
which is my pride,
for half my life . . .

and in all that time
I knew the difference
between a good death
and a stupid one . . .

Someone tells me
with certainty
there’s a tiger
going to eat me
and nothing good
come of it
I stay out of the cave . . .

For a lone diver, what is good death? and stupid one? Do you want to tell?

tiger...does that mean stars for poets?

cave . . who lives in cave? grizzly black bears. You do not notice them (many)because they are in hibernation.

What do you do if the tiger isn’t in a cave?

I've discovered that it is truly possible to die of depression (a broken heart).

The fact that I'm still here is a testament to the fact that it takes a very long time.

I've just been reminded I'm replaceable though. (That's twice today.)

Happy New Year? Oh why not...?

I truly am hopeful for us both John.

Oh dear Sb, let's just make this evening open its biggest mouth to swallow itself.

It is not only depression. There are so many things that can make us think the life is toooo hard to live.
I make a list of what I know and what I experienced myself
1. physical pain.
2. broken heart (broken love)
3  depression of all kind.
4. lost of parents
5. Parents commit suicide.
6. mental problems.
7. political reason.
8. personal freedom.

SO many things are tooo hard for us to handle. And esp to handle alone. But there is God on whom we can depend and in church we can have brothers and sisters who support us with love. And we have good family support and good friends whom we can talk to to share our burden. Only we have to realize that we are weak and we need help and we need love and we need care.

Am I talking too much?

I indeed wrote a 20 words will for a political course. (long, long, long  time ago) I did not die because I missed the chance. But do I regret it? yes and no.   Yes... because life is much richer than a youthful ideal fantasy world.  No because at that time, something else was more important than my life in my thinking. I do not call it stupid. No. That was my value.

why end a year like this?

Ah, dear John, how I hate this topic and because the time difference, One posted a scary one then go to sleep but the wake has to read them..Sir Bruce  was indeed right "Nothing suggests that time  is passing."

Forgive me John, you may ask for a delete.

I have been a groan driver,
which is my pride,
for all my life . . .

and in all that time
I knew the difference
between a good parking
and a stupid one . . .

Someone tells me
with certainty
there’s a ticket
going to issue to me
and nothing good
come of it
if I stay out of the car . . .

(I occupy two space to park my car )
