How quickly memory fades, eh? FEMA did a very good job the prior 3 hurricane seasons when Brown was head of FEMA. Even did a very good job this season prior to Katrina. With Katrina, FEMA could've done a lot better, granted, but saying Brown's running of FEMA has been downright awful denigrates Brown and FEMA's handling of prior emergencies.

Guess that don't much matter now that Brown has resigned.

Ever notice how everything always falls downhill

I don't know that I am qualifed to blame or not blame, but to blame so publically in a degrading way I personally think was wrong. Considering they like that "no fault" government, this is not looking good. I would have resigned too, and then headed to the nearest lawyer. Your right Ali, his track record thus far was okay wasn't it, so one mistake and poof to save whose face I wonder?
