There are times when to be hidden is advantageous as opposed to being exposed, I’m sure Serenity might not see things this way (ohhh a cheep shot so early), but it allows a greater sense of freedom of expression.  The problem comes when you make the statement it often exposes who is the real writer.  I have been told my style of poetry and writing is very distinctive, and I guess it is since it is a reflection of myself.  I seldom worry about the writer, but concern myself with the words.  This isn’t always the case and I’ve been called down for it several times (justifiably).  I know that some people have several names here, for various reasons, but what should be addressed in not the name they use, but what they say.  Each of us hide behind a name, it is what identifies us to the world, and the names we use here identifies us to this place called Passions in Poetry.  This is why I tend to respond to the screen names, not the names below.  If some name response to me mushy and loving (although in my case I wouldn’t know why they’d bother) I will respond accordingly.  If some name response to me in a rude and crude manner I will tend not to respond.  Even if they might be the same person behind either name, it wouldn’t matter to me.  Here in this place it is the words that matter.  These words gathered together make the names a personality.
As for the Moderators, to say there are never a personality conflict is not factual.
To say that the moderators let the personalities interfere with the flow of poetry is also not factual, this is perhaps the best place on the net to post and it is because of Ron and the moderators.
knowing serenity, I’m sure she doesn’t mind the slight abuse for the example

Gloom? Serenity does indeed have other things on her mind. I've been called many things in my life, including late for supper.

And I confess, that I'm a bit foggy again, so actually I'm never sure when or if I should be offended.

I simply choose not.

Hugs and mushy stuff,

Karen/serenity/hypatia/serenity blaze/witchy poo and er...well, a few other names that some aren't aware that I'm aware of...

Seems to me
That my intent was mistook
Not that that is very unusual, happens all the time.

Not mad at Karen/serenity/hypatia/serenity blaze/witchy poo ect. ect. ect.
Just she’s an example of a non-shy type
i.e. doesn’t mind being exposed, doesn’t care if people know her other names
(is one Sybil?) so therefore is not hiding anyway.

As for the much celebrated Toerag
I’ve heard that many people truly enjoy your poetic endeavors
At least those with a better sense of humor than mine, but shredded paper is good fertilizer so he is correct with that. But I advise the witchy  one to avoid putting his toe in your stirrup since you know he walks through the cow pasture without shoes on

What I meant to say was
Hiding is rather useless in the long run, at least to me,
For I don’t actually look,
I figure that there are many here that also don’t look
Or don’t care to look

Shhhhhh, witchie, that’s a state secret
They’ll be coming for you for disseminating

And Toe, when is the last time you washed that rag?
And to me clean might have a different meaning
