It's going to be super hot here in Phoenix today. I think Alaska sounds good right now! Maybe I'll get a job in an ice making factory - I'd have to wear a coat at work. It's easier to get warm than to stay cool...

Our cool front moved through - we didn't break 100 today.  Only stayed at 98.  Good day...

I think it's easier to get warm than stay cool, too, PdV. I was thinking today of some of the poems I wrote about my feet getting cold. Now, I'm barefooted and they're still hot!!

Its even hot here in ENGLAND. Really, what the hell IS going on?

It's boiling!

I had to go up my attic and get a big fan down, and hurt me toe whilst climbing up a ladder. tsk.

I shouldn't complain should i. It'll be raining in five minutes.

PdV- Having spent 4 years nuzzled in the heart of the desert southwest (Yuma to be exact) I can completely empathize with you. Everyone makes that incredibly stupid statement "yeah, but it's a dry heat"...
Yeah, but dry or not, when it gets to 115 air temperature, IT'S STILL HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One small suggestion, though, Poet... move to somewhere that has more than two seasons... Hot, and Not-So-Hot
lol

We see the light of those
Who find the world has passed them by
Too late to save a dream from growing cold...

I'm even melting here in The Netherlands and then they anounced a big thunderstorm coming in this evening and we raced through the garden to get every loose end in the barn and bolted the barn and then we waited...and waited....and then we saw on the news it made a curve around us and hit the middle of the country, so it's still HOT HOTTER HOTTEST here. End of story. 34 degrees Celcius is very, very hot for where I live.

Sorry, after this past winter, I vowed not to complain no matter HOW hot it got...even when the AC broke I was happier sweaty than frozen. But, (sorry, PdV) It has been, shall I say, a very MOIST spring and summer here. (lots of rain is a scarier thing for me than cold)

Stay Cool Peeps!
